Parent & Baby Workshop

Join us for this special new workshop in April for you and your baby near Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire.

£75 per ticket which includes your baby and up to 2 adults! (You & your partner, you & a friend, you & your mum/dad!)

We have prepared a gorgeous afternoon workshop for you with industry professionals to guide you to confidence & success with your baby.

Tea/Coffee & cake provided. 

PROGRAMME

Session 1 - Nicole at Daisy First Aid (1 hour)

• CPR (and defibs)  
• Recovery positions 
• Choking 
• Febrile convulsions  
• Meningitis & sepsis

Session 2 - Solids Workshop with Siobhan the Midwife & HV from Calm.Connected.Parents (1 hour)

• Why start solids before 1 year 
• Signs of readiness 
• Safety and cautions
• Baby led weaning versus spoon feeding  
• Cups and equipment
• Weaning Poster to purchase (optional)

Session 3 - Little Seedlings Baby Massage Session (45 min smaller group/split session)

• Introduction to the loving and gentle touch of Baby Massage from a qualified Infant Massage Instructor.  
• Baby Massage session focused on how to massage your baby to promote Sleep and Relaxation.  
• Learn all about the wonderful benefits of baby massage.   
• Parent and baby bonding time, promoting secure attachments and bonds to last a lifetime.  
• Includes a bottle of natural grape seed oil to take home and continue your baby massage journey.

Session 3 will be split into two smaller groups (in separate room). One half will complete the baby massage and the other half will be doing some mindful activities/meeting & chatting with others on the workshop.

There will be baby gyms/mats provided for your use, baby weighing scales and the usual Local Mama parent related information leaflets/discounts for you to take away! 

There will also be a WhatsApp Group created if you would like to take part and keep in touch post workshop (optional)
